Women in Business offers support, friendship, business training and the opportunity to tap into the immediate network of contacts that exists within the South East.

Women in Business is not a "selling" group. It is a non-profit-making organisation open to the employed and self-employed alike. Members come from a wide range of different businesses.

Our events , talks, workshops and training are organised on a non-profit making basis so they are affordable to all. Unless otherwise stated all events are held on the third Thursday of every month, alternating between venues near Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells. The programme of events includes a variety of topics. Each begins with the opportunity for members to introduce themselves and their business and to network to meet other members, make new friends and contacts.

    •    practical introduction on the tax and business considerations when setting up or running your own business.
    •    Highlighting some positive ways that the tax system can work for the benefit of your business.

Following 20 years Tax and Business Advisory experience working for a number of leading City accountancy firms Sharon and a group of former colleagues and associates formed EightOaks. Based in London and Sevenoaks Eightoaks is a business consultancy specialising in taxation, both compliance and advisory covering everything from completion of company and personal tax returns to tax planning advice. It also provides a Business Advisory Service which includes business startup advice, preparation of business plans, budgetary and cashflows, accounts preparation etc
